"We had an issue with Bruno [Fernandes] so he is a doubt for Monday [to face Crystal Palace]," explained Erik ten Hag at his pre-match press conference.
"But he will fight to be a part of this game, as we know with Bruno.
"Never rule him out for any game and he is giving his best to be available."
The Manchester United boss was not so optimistic about Marcus Rashford though, adding: "We had an issue with Bruno so he is a doubt for Monday, but he will fight to be a part of this game, as we know with Bruno.
"His issue after Coventry City hasn’t healed. I can’t tell when he will be back in training."
The Red Devils face Crystal Palace this weekend in a desperate attempt to end 2023/24 with some dignity.
Man United are in sixth place but are at risk of being overtaken by Newcastle United, who are behind by just one point.
