Ethan Wheatley sets historic Man United feat with Sheffield United cameo

Man United's youth academy product Ethan Wheatley was handed his first-team debut by Erik ten Hag in the 4-2 win over Sheffield United.

The young forward came on in the final few minutes of the game and was able to set an impressive club feat too.

That is because Wheatley has become the 250th Man United youth academy product to have played for the senior team.

The first youth academy graduate from the Red Devils' iconic academy to represent the senior team was Tom Manley in 1931.

Wheatley has joined an illustrious class of Man United youth academy products to have played for the men's senior team, following in the footsteps of legends like Sir Bobby Charton, George Best, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
