Ten Hag breaks silence on Ajax reunion amid Man United sack rumours

During his interview with Gary Neville on Sky Sports, Erik ten Hag was quizzed about Ajax's interest in re-appointing him as manager.

The boss replied: "I expect to be the manager of Manchester United next year. I have not been in contact with Ajax, no."

Provided he stays on, Ten Hag will enter the final year of his contract with immense pressure to improve results.

The Red Devils have four more games left in the Premier League this season and are also part of the FA Cup final.

Erik certainly has a chance to end 2023/24 on a strong note but he still has a huge challenge ahead under the watchful eyes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
