Erik ten Hag names Man United's ultimate end-of-season objective after thrilling Sheffield win

Erik ten Hag has opened up about what he felt about Man United's performance in the 4-2 win over Sheffield United.

After the game, he told Sky Sports: "It was for the crowd a good game. Four goals and many chances we created.

"I think we played quite well, also creating many more chances. Many positives. But also negatives. Conceding two goals from give-aways. It's unacceptable.

"We want to play dynamic, attacking football. That is what we want to see. Since the winter we create lots of chances and also score a lot of chances."

Ten Hag seems to be focused on ensuring that Man United play some highly entertaining attacking football to entertain fans and also impress the higher-ups at Old Trafford to preserve his job as the Red Devils' manager.

Man United have now scored 14 goals in their last five games (across all competitions) and have climbed up to sixth place in the Premier League table with the win.
