Liverpool lost 2-0 to Everton. The result means the Reds are out of the title race unless something weird happens with Arsenal and Man City and they start dropping points left, right and centre.
"In terms of wanting it more, it’s Everton’s night," Jamie Carragher said on Sky Sports after the game. "It’s not been easy and you have seen their record in derby games so you have to accept that as a Liverpool fan.
"This is the end of the title run for Liverpool. It almost feels like the end. They just have to make sure they finish the season strong.
"They had enough chances in the game. At the moment, they are not clinical enough in both boxes. I don’t think it’s the time to get too angry with the team and Jurgen Klopp. It’s been a great ride, a great journey, but tonight is Everton’s night and you have to take it on the chin."
