Kelleher considers Liverpool departure this summer (reliability: 4 stars)

The Liverpool Echo report that Caoimhin Kelleher would consider leaving Liverpool this summer.

The Ireland international wants more playing time and understands that he is unlikely to get it at Anfield while Alisson is at the club.

The goalkeeper had a conversation with Jurgen Klopp last summer, during which the German persuaded him to stay. The report says that a similar conversation with Arne Slot would be required to keep the Irishman at the club.

The 25-year-old has made 26 appearances for the Reds so far this season, playing more games in one campaign than in four previous years at the club.

It was reported back in January that Liverpool want at least ₤20m for Kelleher if they are to sell him in the summer.
