Barcelona are in advanced negotiations with La Masia sensation Oscar Gistau to hand him his first professional contract with the club, claims Sport.
The 16-year-old striker is highly regarded by the youth coaches at the club and he himself also desires to renew his deal with the club.
Both Gistau and the Blaugrana are closing in on an agreement and the 16-year-old has been made to feel very important by Barca, which is why he isn’t even considering offers from other clubs.
The teenage sensation has been praised as the ‘no.9 of the future’ for Barcelona thanks to his performances at the youth level.
Gistau joined Barca’s youth academy from the Fundacio futbal base Reus in 2020 and has impressed in his development over the years.
He has made 35 appearances for Barcelona’s Juvenil A and Juvenil B sides this season, scoring 15 goals for them.
