Who are the first two known members of Arne Slot's future coaching staff at Liverpool? Explained

Arne Slot will not be the only coach to move from Feyenoord to Liverpool ahead of the next season.

He will be joined by assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff and head of performance Ruben Peeters.

Hulshoff has been Slot's assistant at Feyenoord since 2022. Before that, he worked at the club as a U21 manager.

He is also Ronald Koeman's assistant in the Dutch national team, meaning that he's already worked with Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch.

Peeters has worked with Slot since 2021. At Feyenoord, he's been tasked with 'decreasing risk of injury and creating extreme player fitness'.

It means that there will probably be no place for Liverpool's current head of fitness and conditioning Andreas Kornmayer who has worked with the Reds for eight years.
