Bayern Munich have registered an interest to potentially rope in Erik ten Hag to replace Thomas Tuchel in the summer, claims Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy.
The Bavarians are still looking for someone to replace the outgoing German manager and feel that the Man United gaffer has what it takes to succeed with them.
With that being said, Ten Hag is currently focused on the end-of-season stretch with the Red Devils and wants no outside distraction hindering his work.
As a result, he has not held any formal talks with Bayern or any other club – even though the Dutchman has been made aware of the interest.
Man United’s hierarchy are themselves yet to make a final decision on whether to retain Ten Hag for the next season or not, with all depending on how the club finishes the campaign.
The Dutchman actually has a history with Bayern, having worked as their reserves team coach from 2013-2015.
