Real Madrid's biggest strength in Osasuna victory - shown in line-up

Real Madrid made light work of Osasuna on Saturday, picking up a 4-2 victory to hand manager Carlo Ancelotti his 200th win in La Liga.

An end-to-end first half saw Vinicius Junior's early goal quickly cancelled out by Ante Budimir, before Dani Carvajal re-established Madrid's lead heading into the break.

Brahim Diaz and Vinicius were both on target in the second half to kill the game off, although Iker Munoz did fire home a stoppage-time consolation.

Vinicius Junior was outstanding again. However, Federico Valverde seems to be coming into his own in the last few games, taking the creative role in midfield (perhaps enhanced by Jude Bellingham's absence).

Valverde appears capable of filling the void Luka Modric will leave should he, as expected, depart Madrid in the summer.

The last three Real goals all came from his assists, a smart turn and hooked cross, a flick-on header, then a smart chest in Bellingham's path.
