Real Sociedad have given Takefusa Kubo some giant slices of meat and chunks of cheese as his Player of the Season award.
This is somewhat a tradition already. Every year the Basque club comes up with something very delicious and expensive to congratulate the best player of the campaign.
Martin Odegaard was given a giant fish at the time.
Alexander Isak had a piece of meat as well.
San Sebastian - the city in which Real Sociedad are based - is known as one of the most gastronomically rich places in Europe. It is also among the leaders in the number of elite restaurants located in a city.
That's even better than just a random medal or a mini trophy, isn't it?
