Revealed: Mbappe's mother asks for unusual clause to be included in Madrid contract

As per Marca, Kylian Mbappe's mother, who is also one of his representatives, has asked Real Madrid for a percentage of the player's shirt sales to be included in his salary.

This is something the Whites did not consider before since it's not a common practice. The club expects a significant increase in shirt sales once/if Kylian moves to Santiago Bernabeu.

Besides, Los Blancos could offer Mbappe more than the usual 50% of the image rights. This could allow the Frenchman's wages to rise up to €25m per year.

The 22-year-old's contract at Paris Saint-Germain is set expire at the end of the season. Real Madrid hope to sign him, although the Parisians are looking to persuade him towards a short-term extension.
