According to The Telegraph, Bayern Munich have changed their stance on Thomas Tuchel and wish to keep him as manager next season.
Manchester United are strongly linked with Tuchel, who is being touted as one of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's preferred choices to replace Erik ten Hag.
Tuchel is also open to returning to the Premier League and he's believed to be 'hoping' for an offer from Man United.
Bayern are actively working to reach an agreement with Tuchel, despite their decision to terminate his contract next month.
Tuchel's original deal was supposed to end in June 2025. Bayern reportedly wish for him to run down his contract but the German coach wishes for more backing from the hierarchy.
The Telegraph understands Tuchel is demanding a contract till at least 2026 to show their commitment.
