Speaking to reporters earlier this week, Erik ten Hag said: "We plan [for] Raphael Varane to play, definitely for the last games.
"Not on Wednesday [Newcastle United at home], but we hope for Sunday [Brighton away].
"And then, of course, for the last game [the FA Cup final against Manchester City]."
Varane, who has been sidelined since early April with a muscle injury, will be leaving Manchester United on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old could still help the Red Devils to claim a trophy when they face Man City at Wembley in the FA Cup final later this month.
