Sir Jim Ratcliffe dines with Sir Dave Brailsford to discuss Man United transfer plans

According to the Daily Mail, Sir Jim Ratcliffe staged a high-level meeting Sir Dave Brailsford and his executives at The Ivy to discuss Manchester United's transfer plans for the summer.

Ratcliffe and Brailsford believe the Man United squad is bloated and are staging a clearout to trim the wage bill.

They were joined by three more gentlemen for what's being described as a 'working dinner' to finalise plans.

Although Erik ten Hag has vehemently opposed selling the entire squad, Ratcliffe is intent on clearing out at least the highest-earning names.
