Fabrizio Romano provides Mason Greenwood update amid reports of potential Man United return

Manchester United are not planning to bring Mason Greenwood back, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It was reported earlier this week that the Red Devils were open to letting the striker return to the first team this summer.

However, the club's plans remain the same at the moment: cash in on the 22-year-old following his successful season on loan at La Liga side Getafe.

Man United have to deal with the restrictions of the Financial Fair Play so a permanent deal for Greenwood could provide them much-needed funds that could be re-invested.
