Erik ten Hag was generally pleased with what he saw from Man United in their 4-2 win over Sheffield United in the Premier League.
After the game, he had special praise for Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, saying: “I think he's [Casemiro] a very good centre-back, together with Harry [Maguire]. Very stable in and out of possession. He's playing very good, we know he can play there.
“He's [Bruno] very consistent. At the moment he's in very good form. He is really leading the team. I'm very happy with his performance.”
Casemiro has done a decent job shifting into a makeshift centre-back role in recent games, forming a partnership with Harry Maguire to help Man United win the last two matches.
Fernandes, meanwhile, is flying high on momentum and has scored four goals in the last three Premier League matches for Man United – taking his overall tally to 10 goals and seven assists in 32 league games so far this season.
