According to multiple reports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to take charge of the Sweden national team as he returns to coaching.
Solskjaer has been without a job since being sacked by Manchester United in November 2021. He's completed his interview with Sweden and is reportedly awaiting the next step.
He enjoyed a fair deal of success at Old Trafford before things eventually soured both on and off the field.
Not too different from what's happening now under Erik ten Hag, performances went for a toss and squad unrest rumours were on the rise.
However, it appears Ole is ready to finally step into the limelight again; this time as national team manager.
If he takes charge of Sweden, he'd have Victor Lindelof as his captain. Of course, Lindelof was part of Ole's preferred centre-back pairing alongside Harry Maguire.
