Olise suffers back-to-back hamstring injury — last time he was out for 4 months

Man United target Michael Olise has been ruled out of action for Crystal Palace due to a hamstring injury.

The winger is set to sit out the rest of January due to this injury which, sadly, isn't one he's unfamiliar with.

Palace manager Roy Hodgson said after their 3-1 win over Brentford, "He didn’t seem overly concerned.

"I spoke to the doc and he wasn’t shaking his head suggesting he needs a scan tomorrow and we might have to fear the worst.

"We won’t know until he gets back into training and we assess him," he added on the extent of his injury. "I don’t think it was a major snapping of the muscle.

"But, unfortunately, we’re in that period of football life where you’ve played 20 games, playing three games in a week. I’m afraid people are going to pick up muscle injuries.”

Olise also injured his hamstring last summer and missed 13 games for Crystal Palace due to it.

If Man United had any concrete plans of pursuing the winger, they may want to reconsider, given this recurring injury issue.
