Michael Owen: 'This Man United team is going nowhere'

Reacting to the Bournemouth game, Michael Owen wrote on Twitter: "I just can't see any positives for Manchester United at present.

"Knocked out of the Carabao Cup, about to go out of the Champions League at the group stage, no chance of winning the league, average signings.

"Shocking performances, manager falling out with players, no identity, poor team selection. Things need to change as this team is going nowhere."

A small glimmer of hope at Man United was brutally shut down at the weekend following a disastrous 3–0 defeat against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

Things can easily go from bad to worse for the Red Devils this week as they face Bayern Munich at home and Liverpool away next in a span of six days.
