Man United are now facing competition from Nottingham Forest over the signing of Sofyan Amrabat, claims Alfredo Pedulla.
The Tricky Trees are now ready to make a late push to sign the Fiorentina midfielder before the transfer window shuts.
Unlike Man United, they are even willing to make a bid of €20m (£17.1m) plus add-ons to sign him on a permanent basis.
With that being said, that bid could fall well short of Fiorentina’s rumored valuation of £35m to offload the midfielder.
The Red Devils recently had a loan offer for Amrabat turned down, as they are struggling to get the finances for a competitive bid.
Forest’s offer is thought to be the ‘best on the table’ for him as uncertainty grows over his situation in the Italian club.
Man United need to offload either Scott McTominay or Donny van de Beek to open their path to signing Amrabat on a permanent basis.
