Two Premier League clubs were interested in Onana
Manchester United were not the only Premier League side after Andre Onana this summer, the goalkeeper's agent Albert Botines has confirmed.
He told CalcioMercato: "Around April, many people enquired. Tottenham asked for information, Chelsea had a very strong interest. There were meetings in London and Chelsea had also met with Inter Milan, but the figure of Erik ten Hag was key."
Van Nistelrooy praises Man United-linked strikler
Ruud van Nistelrooy has heaped praise on Jarrad Branthwaite amid reports linking the 21-year-old Everton striker with a summer move to Old Trafford.
The ex-Man United forward said: "He's a great talent. The boy is young, but he has a future. He's good on the ball, can play on the left or the right of centre-back because he is two-footed. He has height and speed, so he's very complete."

Man United have confirmed the arrival of Harry Amass, 16, from Watford as our latest addition to the Academy.
Amass is a left-back by trade and was wanted by Chelsea before eventually joining the Red Devils.
