'He's a winner because he trains at 105% instead of whining': AC Milan boss Pioli praises Dalot's attitude

Speaking after Diogo Dalot’s impressive cameo in AC Milan’s 3-1 win over Parma on Saturday, Stefano Pioli told MilanTV: “I’m very happy with Dalot because he knew for two days that I was going to choose Kalulu, but he’s a winner because he trained at 105% instead of whining.

“It’s beautiful behaviour and a beautiful example for everyone, I had no doubt that he would do well given the way he prepared.”

Dalot came off the bench on Saturday in Milan’s win, assisting Rafael Leao’s late goal to secure a much-needed win. The Portuguese wing-back has made 26 appearances for Milan this season, scoring 2 goals and registering 3 assists in all competitions.
