Jockey Club organise the 'end of an era' farewell party for Jurgen Klopp

Earlier this year, Jurgen Klopp announced that he would be stepping down as the manager of Liverpool at the end of the season.

As the season comes to a close, Klopp's final game will be on Sunday, May 19. The Jockey Club is hosting a farewell party for fans at Aintree Racecourse, calling it "the end of an era."

At the party, fans can watch Klopp's last game against Wolves on a big screen in the Red Rum Garden. There will also be lots of food, drinks, and football action. The event runs from 2 pm to 7 pm, and tickets cost £12.50 per person.

Klopp took over as Liverpool's manager in October 2015 and has led the team to many victories, including the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in the following year. Under his leadership, Liverpool also won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in 2022.

Although they narrowly missed out on another league title and were runners-up in the Champions League, Klopp has left a lasting legacy at Anfield.
