Trent: 7/10. Effortlessly world-class in his passing. Created a lot of chances for his teammates and should have had like two or three assists today. Defensively uninspiring as usual but hands down the best Liverpool player tonight.
Alisson: 6. Made a great save on Calvert-Lewis in the 17th minute but let the ball squeeze under him when Everton scored the opener.
Diaz: 6. Missed a clear-cut chance to equalise shortly before the interval. Extremely unlucky to hit the post in the middle of the second half. The only player from the top three who gave a f*** about the game and played for the kit.
Mac Allister: 4. Good passing on a few occasions but let Everton do whatever they wanted in the Reds' home third.
Jones: 4. Clearly not the same player he was before the injury. Passed sideways all the time and gave the ball away often.
Endo: 4. His first touch of the game nearly led to an Everton goal.
Szoboszlai: 3. A couple of good runs forward but that's pretty much it. Anonymous.
Van Dijk: 3. Let Everton defenders win aerials in the box almost uncontested during the opposition's set pieces.
Salah: 2. The Egyptian didn't show any end product tonight. Pocketed by Ashley Young, who was brought on straight out of the retirement home, in the second half. Horrible finishing in the 78th minute.
Darwin: 2. Disastrous finishing. That first-half miss was inexcusable. Couldn't control the ball if his life depended on it.
Robertson: 2. His crosses either hit the first man or flew over everyone. Couldn't kick the ball properly after Trent's genius pass shortly after the break.
Konate: 2. Came decidedly second-best against Calvert-Lewin. Klopp took an unusual stop and took him off at the hour's mark and it's a testament to how poor Ibou was today.
