'It didn't look like it': Even Bournemouth manager claims Mac Allister got wrongly sent off

The biggest talking point of Liverpool's 3-1 win over Bournemouth is Alexis Mac Allister's controversial red card.

Jurgen Klopp has already stated that he does not believe the sending-off was justified.

Surprisingly, he is joined by his Bournemouth counterpart Andoni Iraola.

"I don’t know. In real life it did not look like a red card," Iraola told BBC.

The hope now is that Liverpool will manage to appeal the red card and any ban that comes with it.

In Mac Allister's absence, Liverpool will have to fast-track Wataru Endo's introduction into the starting XI as he'll remain the only credible No.6 option in the squad.
