Phillips, Tchouameni & 10 more names: ranking probability of latest rumours

On Monday, we rounded up the latest transfer gossip about Liverpool. Eight players are linked with a move to Anfield, four players could leave.

Some transfers are more likely than others though, with multiple reports claiming the Reds are not planning any transfer business this month.

So we've rated the probability of these moves happening.

Unlikely

Gavi to Liverpool. The 17-year-old wonderkid would be a lovely addition to Liverpool's midfield. However, we can't see Gavi joining the Reds. The lad is living his dream at Barcelona, where a new contract for him is being lined up as we speak.

Luis Diaz to Liveprool: 1/10. Only Portuguese sources are reporting on Liverpool's interest in the Porto winger. Unfortunately, they have often got things wrong in the past. Common sense also tells us that it's difficult to see Liverpool paying Luis Diaz's £67m release clause in winter.

Ousmane Dembele to Liverpool: 1/10. The Reds are often linked with pending free agents. But would Klopp sign a player who trashed his house in Dortmund, has a lot of disciplinary issues and is holding Barca to ransom by reportedly asking for a €50m contract? Doesn't seem likely.

Randal Kolo Muani to Liverpool: 2/10. Bild reported that the Reds are keen on the Nantes striker, who could be available on free after the end of the season. But it's literally the only report linking Liverpool with the Frenchman so take it with a pinch of salt for now.

Arnaut Danjuma to Liverpool: 3/10. Reputable Fabrizio Romano confirmed Liverpool's interest in the Villarreal forward. However, he also noted that a January move is out of question.

It's possible that Liverpool come back for the Netherlands international in the summer but it's too early to speculate about that.

Aurelien Tchouameni to Liverpool: 3/10. The AS Monaco man is said to be on Liverpool's radar. The competition is extremely high for the 21-year-old though so landing him would be extremely difficult.

Divock Origi to leave: 3/10. Liverpool apparently want to keep the Belgian until the end of the campaign. They would be open to selling him in the summer though.

Likely

Neco Williams to leave: 5/10. According to Sky, the Welshman has asked Liverpool to consider his exit. A loan move would make sense on paper. However, the Reds might need Neco while Salah and Mane are absent given his ability to play as winger.

Denis Zakaria to Liverpool: 5/10. The midfielder will leave Gladbach on free agency in the summer and the Reds could snap him up. Liverpool do need a new midfielder with Milner reportedly leaving the club, so Zakaria could be an option.

Loris Karius to leave: 6/10. The German has no place in this Liverpool side and has six months on his contract. The Reds are reportedly open to parting ways with him for no fee but no one seems to be interested in the keeper.

Franck Kessie to Liverpool: 6/10. The Ivorian is in the same contract situation as Zakaria: he is free to negotiate with other clubs as his Milan contract expires in the summer. Liverpool have seen a lot of links with the 25-year-old in the past few years so we could finally see him joining the Reds in the summer.

Nat Phillips to leave: 8/10. There is a lot of interest in the centre-back. Liverpool want around £15m for him. It remains to be seen whether West Ham, Newcastle or other interested sides are prepared to satisfy the Reds' demands.
