The interest was again concrete, reported by the likes of The Athletic and fans were excited about it.
Ex-Red Jose Enrique went as far as to describe him as a great signing, with fans also not averse to the idea. Alas, it never quite materialized.

Though both were once promising names, both Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic had clearly been on the club's books for too long and another loan would have been frustrating with the Reds needing to raise funds.
