According to Pearce's report, the Reds will be looking for about £12m, same as what they sold Harry Wilson to Fulham for.
Shaqiri has expressed his desire to move to Lazio and indeed they are interested, but Serie A rivals Napoli have also been linked with a move.
With Liverpool possessing a 12-month extension option, Shaqiri is essentially tied down to the club till 2023.
This will mean that while the Reds won't make it hard for him to move away, buying clubs will not have as much leverage as might be expected.
Once the deal goes through, Liverpool will have crossed £40m in sales with a few more potential outgoings and they will likely look to add players then.
