'I’ve got nothing but admiration for Jurgen': Chris Wilder ready to bury the hatchet on war of words with Klopp

"The relationship is absolutely fine," Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder said about Jurgen Klopp ahead of their match on Sunday.

"I’ve got nothing but admiration for Jurgen, he’s a top class manager. People talk and if I was precious about what people said...

"He’s a winner, we all try to win and he’s done that in incredible fashion. In the heat of the moment… if it was personal I didn’t take it personal.

"I’ve moved on, I’ve got enough on to worry about stuff like that and it’s way down the pecking order for me."

Back in November, the two managers clashed over Klopp's support for a five-subs rule, with Wilder calling his counterpart 'a world-class politician'.

After that, Klopp took several digs at the manager he picked for his Manager of the Season vote last season. Now, we have to agree with Wilder, though, as Liverpool have plenty of more important matters to deal with as well.
