"We are definitely looking to improve," Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder said as quoted by the Liverpool Echo. "We want to get one at the top of the pitch to give us that quality. We are trying. It is an important area of the pitch.
"We are definitely looking to improve. I am delighted with what we have brought in. But if we can get one more at the top end of the pitch to really give us that quality then we will be in much better shape than when we first started in the Premier League against Bournemouth (last season)."
Wilder did not mention Rhian Brewster by name but, according to credible sources, it is the Liverpool youngster who tops the wishlist for the Blades' boss.
The 20-year-old is highly rated at Anfield, so it will most likely be a loan move or a sale with a buyback clause inserted in the deal. In any case, Sheffield have already presented Liverpool with 'a detailed development plan' for Brewster who might be getting regular game time at Bramall Lane.
