In the 16th minute, Ronaldo capitalized on a mistake by Al Khaleej goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic, receiving the ball just inside the penalty area. Despite having his back to the goal, Ronaldo unleashed a stunning left-footed volley that found the back of the net, giving his team the lead.
