'They spend that on biscuits for the boardroom!': Tottenham fans slam club after increasing ticket prices

Tottenham Hotspur has angered their fans by increasing ticket prices for the upcoming 23/24 season. After a disappointing 22/23 season, which resulted in a poor eighth-place finish and the sacking of manager Antonio Conte, supporters were already dissatisfied.

The Sun reports that prices for most areas of the stadium have increased by up to £13 per match, which has only added fuel to the fire.

Fans were quick to react on social media.

Gary Mixture(Twitter): The main point of all this is that the increases don't make a blind bit of difference to the club's finances. £2-3m additional revenue? They spend that on biscuits for the boardroom! This is simply sticking two fingers up to the fanbase for the hell of it.

Joe 27: Is anyone shocked?levy and enic have been getting away with all kind of crap for years maybe the next time u are on sky sports call levy and enic out over this and say fans ain't happy and haven't been happy with how we are run something might change if that was to happen 👍

Mikkel Moritsen: It’s basically like the fans should pay for the team and the boards failure.

Owen Williams: Also the on going disgrace of no junior tickets available for large parts of the ground. I’ve never understood how they could get away with that
