Ederson denied Inter Milan extra times in the Champions League final but at the other end of the pitch, another excellent goalkeeper shone.
Andre Onana made a bunch of crucial saves for his team, most notably denying Phil Foden towards the end of the game.
But at the final whistle, it was his leadership qualities that were on display as Onana was consoling his teammate Lautaro Martinez. He threw his gloves off and gave Lautaro a proper hug.
Inter can take a lot of pride in their performance. They were a rare team not just this season but in recent years who managed to outperform City on expected goals. With more luck, Inter could've got the game into extra times, if not opened the score.
Nonetheless, it was a terrific final performance from both sides and especially their goalkeepers.
