AS Roma and Sevilla meet in the Europa League final on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 in Budapest.
Both teams have had a tough season but Jose couldn't resist downplaying his team's ability by pointing to Sevilla spendings.
Jose is quoted by Il Messaggero: "Sevilla's budget is not the same we have at Roma. We have players who were in the second team last year.
"Sevilla have more experience but we [Roma] have been together for the last two years. My friends in Madrid say that Sevilla have a great team, two great teams because they have 25 top players. They have many options.
"But they don’t know my guys and they don’t know my team as a team and tomorrow we will be there."
He also believes that Roma have had a tougher path to the final, saying: "It's been a different route compared to our opponents who dropped here from the Champions League. If I'm not mistaken, we have played 14 matches to be here. We deserve to be here."
Mourinho also confirmed that Paulo Dybala is ready to play 20-30 minutes.
The Argentinian has had an ankle problem and last played a full game on 2 April.
