'He needs to improve': Xavi explains Vitor Roque situation

"There is competition at Barca. He [Vitor Roque] is a young player. He needs to improve and show that he can compete against high-profile players," Xavi told the media after the 2-0 win against Real Sociedad.

How could the 19-year-old improve when he doesn't play at all, though? That's the question.

Xavi also revealed that Vitor Roque had picked up a minor injury just before the Real Sociedad clash – which is the reason why he didn't participate again.

The forward is expected to leave the club this summer, most likely on loan. He has scored two goals in 310 minutes for Blaugrana.
