Barca about to announce big news on Sergi Roberto — Fabrizio Romano

Barcelona are about the contract renewal of Sergi Roberto, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says.

The new deal for Roberto will be announced in a matter of days, according to highly reliable Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto.

Barca will reward their captain with a one-year deal keeping him at the club until the summer of 2025.

Roberto agreed to reduce his salary in 2022 until he became one of the lowest-paid senior players at the club.

This season has been a tough one for the 32-year-old who has suffered a series of injuries restricting him to 20 appearances this season. He's still the Spaniard has registered three goals and two assists.
