Signing a top-class defensive midfielder is going to be Barcelona's absolute summer priority no matter who the new head coach will be.
Barca's hot fan Alexa, who has recently revealed her naughty message for Lamine Yamal, comes up with a big transfer rumour Fabrizio Romano isn't aware of yet.

This rumour actually makes sense. Joao Neves is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes who has a great relationship with Joan Laporta – the two probably discussed the highly-promising midfielder while talking about the future of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix.
Neves' impressive passing stats aside, there are also the defensive metrics that make him one of the best players in the world in his position. Let's hope Benfica won't ask for a huge fee and he actually agrees to join Barcelona instead of Real Madrid.
