The 26-year-old has already won several official Man of the Match awards this season. Although we don't agree with some picks, De Jong is indeed crucial with his runs forward and all-round style of play.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen
Despite having conceded three goals against Villarreal, the German's individual brilliance is something he can still boast about.
The 31-year-old has performed multiple saves early in the season, including some really difficult ones. Just like last term, things would've been way more difficult without his contribution.
Lamine Yamal
The 16-year-old remains Barca's most dangerous attacker while Robert Lewandowski continues to suffer from his goalscoring woes.
In fact, Yamal hasn't yet scored a single goal this season, but the number of chances he generates per game is truly amazing for a player of his age. Without him, Xavi's team wouldn't have completed the comeback against Villarreal.
Against Osasuna, the teenager wasn't so perfect offensively but delivered by effectively tracking back a lot.
Note: Ferran Torres is not the list after failing to impress against Osasuna; besides, he remains more of an impact sub for now.
