Premier League club open talks with Barca over Lenglet, — Romano

Aston Villa are currently discussing with Barcelona regarding the conditions of the transfer of Clement Lenglet, according to the credible Fabrizio Romano.

The Premier League club are negotiating a loan move for the French defender. Barca are pressing to have them cover his full salary during the loan period.

Barcelona have been working on offloading the player all summer due to his high salary.

Tottenham decided against re-signing Lenglet following the sacking of Antonio Conte before the season ended.

Lenglet has been registered in La Liga but he's without a squad number and is not expected to be at Barca when the transfer ends on Friday.
