Xavi could replace Christensen with La Masia star – he featured as Barca U19 thrashed Inter 6-1

Xavi is expected to replace the injured Andreas Christensen with Chadi Riad, reports Relevo.

The 19-year-old Moroccan plays at centre-back with Barcelona Atletic.

The youngster featured for Barca as they beat Inter Milan 6-1 in the UEFA Youth League.

Riad is expected to train with the first team on Friday. Then he will make the squad list ahead of the Celta Vigo game on Sunday.
