Former Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes returned to the pitch on Sunday as Arsenal beat Everton at the Emirates, 3-2.
The Portuguese suffered from a leg-breaking tackle by Serge Aurier in the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on November 3.
Despite certain chances to come back until the end of the season, it was expected that Gomes would miss more than just three and a half months.
However, the 26-year-old's recovery went better than expected as he's now prepared to help Everton secure a top-7 finish.
Andre Gomes joined Barcelona from Valencia for €35m plus €20m in add-ons back in 2016. During the two seasons with the Catalans, the 26-year-old made 78 appearances across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and winning 4 trophies.
In August 2018, the Portugal international joined Everton on a season-long loan for a fee of €2.25m. After the midfielder's solid 2018/19 campaign in England, the Toffees signed Andre on a permanent deal for around €25m.
