It has been reported earlier this week that the Premier League is set to hold a vote on abolishing VAR on June 6.
The Brighton v Chelsea game game saw the referee to go to the monitor several times. He overturned a penalty on Cucurella, cancelled a Jackson goal and sent off James for violent conduct — all after consulting with VAR.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that he does not want the system to be scrapped. He said: "Next season we have to see if we can improve how we use VAR. For me it's not in or out, it's about improving how we use it.
"It can be amazing to have it in the right way and VAR can be a fantastic tool to help the referees and us."
