Acheampong makes more blocks than anyone in Chelsea v Spurs — he came on in 85th minute!

Josh Acheampong made his Chelsea debut on Thursday in a 2-0 victory against Tottenham. He replaced Alfie Gilchrist in the 85th minute of the game.

A fan account on Twitter, Chelsea Season, has noted that the 17-year-old made four blocks during his time on the pitch. This is the most blocks made by any Chelsea or Spurs player in the whole game!

The England youth international showed a lot of promise in the limited time he had on the pitch, proving once again that Cobham can produce unbelievable talentes.

Looks like Reece James and Malo Gusto will have to compete not only between each other, but with Josh too soon! Fortunately, Acheampong is capable of playing further up the pitch and as a centre-back.
