They are looking for a player with a similar profile as Michael Olise, which would be a right-wing forward who can create chances.

The Blues are prioritizing the signing of a new no.10 alongside the new winger as well.

They have been linked with quite a few options, with Nottingham Forest youngster Brennan Johnson tipped as an alternative to Olise.

However, Chelsea doesn’t seem to be that eager to sign a new no.9 amid the uncertainty over Romelu Lukaku’s future.

The summer transfer window ends on September 1, before which Chelsea needs to complete all the deals.
