AC Milan head coach confirms 'clear plan' with Fikayo Tomori

“We are so happy with Tomori, our plan with him is so clear," AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

"We want to confirm Fikayo and our plan is to keep him next season. Let’s see what happens with Chelsea."

Tomori has become a starting XI regular in Italy, making 14 appearances for AC Milan since joining them on loan in January.

The defender reportedly has a £26m buy-out option in his loan deal that can be activated in the summer - the Blues are not likely to settle for less. Still, with both Tomori and AC Milan happy with each other, a permanent deal looks more likely at this point.
