Elneny confirms Arsenal exit, sends beautiful message to fans 

"You’ll be in my heart forever. I wanted to say how much I love you, how much you mean to me & I’ll never forget the way you support me," Mo Elneny said.

"I’m going to see you on Sunday at Emirates Stadium to say goodbye face-to-face.”

Elneny is Arsenal’s longest-serving player, having joined in January 2016, and is also the last of Arsene Wenger’s signings to still be at the club.

The midfielder’s work-rate, attitude and commitment to the team made him a popular figure amongst some of the Arsenal faithful, as well as his teammates.

Elneny’s name is regularly sung by Arsenal’s travelling support, and after 161 appearances in nearly eight years, he is sure to receive a warm reception as he bids farewell against Everton.
