Brighton target Lokonga
Brighton have switched their focus to signing Albert Sambi Lokonga after their talks with Lille over the summer transfer of Carlos Baleba have stalled.
According to talkSPORT, the move for the 23-year-old midfielder would be a loan initially with an option to make the transfer permanent next summer.
Owen gives verdict on Havertz's potential yellow vs Palace
Michael Owen believes that Kai Havertz should've have been shown a yellow card against Crystal Palace on Monday after Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off a similar foul just a few minutes earlier.
He told Premier League Productions: "Ironic it was against the same player, Ayew. Tomiyasu was sent off for pulling a shirt. Then, moments later, Havertz does pull the shirt! Look at that, the difference is quite stark. Yet, Havertz gets absolutely nothing for that, whereas Tomiyasu is given a red card. Staggering."
Arsenal's warmup kit named among the best
Experts at ESPN FC have rated Arsenal's warmup kit for the 2023/24 campaign as one of the best in Europe, thanks to Adidas's efforts.
They wrote: "In spite of their divisive fluorescent yellow away kit, the Gunners have generally fared well in the fashion stakes this season and their warmup shirt maintains that standard. The red top is decorated with the club's popular 'lightning' motif, first used on a fan-favourite away kit in the mid-1990s that has been revived in recent years."
