Joao Palhinha will miss Fulham's clash with Arsenal at the weekend. The Portuguese is also unavailable for Monday's game against Brentford after he was booked for the 10th time this season last week.
His absence will be a blow to Marco Silva and Fulham, having established himself as a mainstay in central midfield during their high-flying season.
Palhinha has racked up 101 tackles, the most in the Premier League this season. The closest to him is Leeds United's Tyler Adams with 88.
Thomas Partey, in contrast, has managed just 47 tackles this season.
"Of course he will be a miss for us, he is an important player for us but another one will come in and another will do his job well for sure," Silva said.
The Gunners will be aiming for their fifth consecutive win at Craven Cottage. Before the trip, they face Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.
