“I think someone will come in this summer and put £20m on the table for him. You can’t blame Celtic for taking it, especially in the current climate," Frank McGarvey told The Scottish Sun of Odsonne Edouard.
“I’ll be sorry to see him go because he is an outstanding footballer. His temperament and his ability are genuinely top class.
“We live in the real world, and I am not too sure if someone comes in and offers massive money that Edouard would be able to say no to it.”
The 22-year-old has scored a whopping 21 goals in 27 Premiership outings for the Hoops in 2019/20.
The striker has a contract until 2022 and Charlie Nicholas believes the Scots would prefer to cash in on him rather than keeping an unhappy player in the squad if Edouard decides to move.
